I have been sleeping very poorly this summer. Yesterday I did a big hike in Austria and I also slept very badly. Now I wonder if maybe it is because of the sport? I sweat all night and it is very hot. My girlfriend had the same problem after the hike. However, the days before we slept very well.
I usually do a CrossFit workout at 18:00 three times a week and fall asleep at 22:30 and wake up at 02:00 though.
Do you guys have similar problems and how do you get them under control?
Maybe your body is just to hyped up from the sport. Try to reduce extend the time between training and sleeping. Like doing you Sport maybe earlier. If that is an option. Some herbal tea could help.
It could also just be to hot for you to sleep. Keeping yourself cool somehow should help.
You should also check your blood. Just to be sure.
I take a saune and a really cold shower 🥶
I have the feeling that I can sleep better by cooling down. Shortly after the cold shower I was then also so tired that I would have liked to fall asleep immediately.
Maybe that’s all you need :)
