Nah man you can pat yourself. My 4k resolution is finally utilized and I am very happy with how almost everything looks.

Some community headers get scaled pretty wonky, for example in https://sh.itjust.works/c/mildlyinfuriating@lemmy.world but thats a small price to pay for more visual clarity overall.

I dont think defederation is the way to go here. It could be another scenario that could be solve elegantly via a tagging system.

But I agree that stuff which is in a legal grey area or outright forbidden in many countries should not show per default on All. There already is a NSFW setting that you can activate and deactivate (this btw can solve the issue to 99% for you right now if you’re willing to pass on other NSFW content).

There could be an additional setting to see things that “might be illegal in your country of residence” or simply NSFL. If you then mark such communities appropriatly it could solve the issue for people that want a) no exposure and b) no legal risk due to being shown such communities. And I count myself among those that dont want anything to do with loli or the likes.

Man sagt ja traditionell dass “man seine Stimme wegschmeißt” wenn man eine der < 4% Parteien wählt.

Würde ich stattdessen zB SPÖ wählen (die Anteilsmäßig zumindest EHER auf Augenhöhe mit Schwarz & Blau spielt) ist die Chance auf eine Absolute Mehrheit von FPÖVP geringer.

Man müsste sich also zumindest darauf verlassen können dass die KPÖ eine gewisse (höhere als 4%) Stimmenanzahl erreichen KANN. Was in Salzburg passiert ist und was in Graz schon länger Tagesordnung ist ist halt nicht so easy 1:1 in die Bundespolitik zu übertragen.

Man kann daher find ich einfach nur abwarten wie sich die Prognosen entwickeln, wie das eigene Umfeld zur Sache steht, um dann eine Entscheidung zu treffen.

Ich könnte es mir auch vorstellen. Aber ich gleichzeitig ist mir bewusst, wenn ich KPÖ wähle dann besteht eine doch nicht so geringe chance dass ich damit der FPÖ die Absolute gebe.

Ist ja zum glück noch ein bissl bis zur nächsten Wahl. Vielleicht kriegt sich die SPÖ unter Babler wieder ein und kehrt zu ihren Kernthemen zurück. Vlt gibts noch ein Ibiza v.2 dass FPÖVP stimmen wegnimmt… kA. Wir san afoch so a Bananenrepublik… :-(

Ja damit hast sicher recht. Mods sind ja, zusammen mit den 3rd party app Herstellern die Hauptleidtragenden. Wünsche mir dass mehr von den beteiligten subs permanent abschalten. Soll Reddit halt selbst Mods anheuern & bezahlen um die subs wieder aufmachen zu können.

Absolut! Es is extrem spannend diesem Fediverse sprichwörtlich beim Wachsen zusehen zu können! Bin vor 4, 5 Tagen gejoined, da waren posts auf “All” und “Hot” meistens so bei 100, 200 upvotes. Jetzt sind sie weit über 500. Faszinierend. :-)

Schaut jetzt erstmal recht gut aus mit dem Blackout. Da sind sehr viele populäre riesen subs down. - Hätte ich so nicht erwartet.

Wird im Endeffekt wohl alles nix bringen, der reddit-Kurs ist mmn. bereits in Stein gemeisselt. Aber es ist ein tolles Zeichen das die Community da setzt.
