These units do not push electricity into the grid unless their fail-saves are bypassed deliberately or fail catastrophically.
What are you talking about? Of course, energy that isn’t used in the household is pushed back to the grid.

Ach es ist doch ganz wundervoll, wenn die Schwurbler auf Lemmy sich direkt mit dem größten Mumpitz selbst zu erkennen geben, damit man sie easy blocken kann. Dank dir.
As if I needed any more reasons to hate that fucker…
Not at home and can’t try it, but for other racing games it’s enabled by default (Redout e.g.), so it shouldn’t really be much of an issue to turn it on.
Got several mats from urbanmatz. The quality is really good and absolutely on par with bigger manufacturers and they don’t print any logo onto the surface.
Awesome.
But… 20? Russia is burning through their tanks and APCs like it’s nothing. I sure hope these 20 make a difference, but shouldn’t we, by now, think one order of magnitude higher?
Yeah, of course the car needs to be cheap if it has a low range. We paid about 20k for the golf when we bought it in '20, which was a great deal then and would still be a great deal today. At least here in Europe, this “small and low range but cheap” is, while not common, available. The Dacia Spring is awesome for its price (offers similar range as our golf at around 14k) and you might find good deals for a Twingo, Up, C3 or similar, for little more than 20k as well.
So… Yeah. Sucks if there’s nothing like that available. Guess manufacturers must look at American incomes and just be like “nah, the average American should be able to afford our expensive ones, so fuck the others” or something. Dunno.
We drive an electric golf with 232 km range, which is 144 miles. It’s a great commuter and was so cheap it’ll pay for itself.
It really depends on your use case, but cars with short ranges do have their niche, especially if your budget is limited and you regularly drive distances that are doable with the car but too far for a bicycle.
Thanks :)
/edit Still links to the channel for me :D

Picard: Can you sing, Mister Data?
Data: Well… yes. At least, well enough for my own people. But we have no songs for great spacecraft and… evil times.
Picard: And why should your songs be unfit for my bridge? Come, sing me a song.
[pause]
Data: [sings] Lifeforms! You tiny little lifeforms! You precious little lifeforms! Where are you?
Dann isses zum Glück nur ein Winterzurkenntnisnehmen. Viel besser.
