    ?

Nah, they (the members of legislature who voted to impeach the prime minister) said he, as acting president, refused to appoint supreme court justices (edit: correction: constitutional court justices) already approved by the legislature, so they impeached him.

What is “revenge” about this? (Unless I missed something)

Supreme court (edit: correction: Constitutional court) needs 2/3 for a quorum, total is 9 seats, they have 6 right now, so if anyone on the court dies, they might have issues trying to convict the president of impeachment.

Not only that, but unless the vacant sheets are filled soon, the justices have to vote unanimously for the impeachment, as it must be two thirds of the seats, not the justices, that need to vote to convict. As there are only six justices out of nine, one dissenting judge is enough to reinstate Yoon.
