Americans better get ready to open up their money bags. This upcoming war ain’t paying itself either.

Came here for this. How can they legally use a headline like that. This is why we can’t have nice things.

Israel is the war in the middle east. They’re like wild pokemon attacking everything around them. Anyone who dares oppose is a “antisemite”. And our governments happily arms these people…

The war in Syria is also going on. Israel is nowhere near as involved in that as the U.S., Russia and Turkey are.

This is just unbelievable. They destroyed Gaza, attacked Lebanon, attacked UN troops and now Iran.

I am more and more of the view that Israel must be completely disarmed to achieve peace in the middle East, with the UN troops taking control of the entire Palestine/Israel area.

I’m honestly just thinking that at some point they must have pushed it too far. The media is calling this a “retaliation strike” but fail to mention that the missile exchanges with Iran started when Israel “assassinated” a Hamas top in Iran using a bomb last year, with a bunch of collateral casualties.

Like… what does it take to convince all their neighbours to start a ground war in Israel, and for the west to simultaneously look the other way? It looks like they’re trying their best to find out.

Based on intelligence, IAF aircraft struck missile manufacturing facilities used to produce the missiles that Iran fired at the State of Israel over the last year. These missiles posed a direct and immediate threat to the citizens of the State of Israel. Simultaneously, the IDF struck surface-to-air missile arrays and additional Iranian aerial capabilities, that were intended to restrict Israel’s aerial freedom of operation in Iran.

Pretty sure these were military targets. I wouldn’t trust this kind of propaganda at all.

I wish MBFC had coverage of The War Zone. TWZ is not very large, but they cite material really well, have informed discussion, and aren’t sensationalist. It’s great for mainstream coverage of military-related stuff. It’s bizarre that it started out on a car website, but it definitely has been one of my more-pleasant surprises online.

Yeah, it is one of the few sources on military matters that know what they are talking about, are able to explain how systems work to the reader, and cite their sources. Been one of the few places I go check for the news myself.

Peter Zeihan also provides excellent geopolitical analysis.

This headline and framing are misleading propaganda. Not surprised to hear this is a car magazine. Ban cars.
