So this isn’t directly related to patientgaming but my hardware and personal tastes kind of filter me to playing games no newer than five years old.
I’m looking for some recommendations for games that can be completed within ten hours. I’ve realized recently that this is the sweet spot how much I enjoy playing a game before I get bored of it. I’m open to all types of games. Thanks in advance!
Portal?
Awesome game, it was one of the first I ever played on my friends’ Xbox
You’ve probably played it then but Portal 2 is pretty short too.
I really loved Firewatch. It is a story-rich game and easily finishable in under 10 hours.
Outer wilds. It can be longer for some but finishing it in a single sitting or two it hits best. A deep emotional experience that you can only ever truly experience truly the first time. So avoid spoilers at all costs.
Also Firewatch
I would disagree on the lenght. My playtrought took my around 15-18 hours. Great game tho
Limbo. Good game and it lasts only 2 hours.
Inside is also really good, and cocoon is getting great reviews (same creator)
Journey and GRIS are really great and can be finished in one Session.
Portal, Portal 2
Viewfinder - Super cool first-person puzzle game. Took me a little over five hours to finish.
Heavenly Bodies - Another puzzle game, way different than Viewfinder with quite difficult mechanics. Also has local co-op.
Titanfall 2 - I really enjoyed the story, also didn’t take too long. I’d personally stay away from multiplayer though :')
Steamworld Dig
Amazing little game.
Titanfall 2. Amazing and extremely tight campaign with great level design. One of my all time favorite campaigns. Should take round about 5-6 hours iirc.
I have seen Portal a couple of times already, which was also my 1st thought.
I didn’t yet see Celeste which I am pretty sure can be beat in under 10 hours.
It has a lot of additional stuff though that you won’t be able to collect in those 10 hours.
