If it’s any consolation, things aren’t better in the Southern Hemisphere. At least not in my city.

To give you an idea, the 13th of August we had the coldest day of the year, 2°C. Exactly a month later, 13th of September, we’re predicted to get the record high of 37°C. (Americans: 34F to 98F in a month).

And that doesn’t even tell you the whole picture, the climate is zig-zagging nonstop, it stopped being simply tsundere to go full yandere. “Hot wave! Cold Wave! Hot! Cold! Rabbit season! Duck season!

Yep, that’s the beginning of climate change scientists have warned about since ages.

Don’t worry, it will get worse in the next years.

Meanwhile in Miami it’s a low of 82 and a high of 89, with a feels like of 100 everyday because of 80% + humidity until the end of October. My apartment is in a newer building and is well insulated. I forgot to turn on my AC two nights ago before I passed out for the night. When I woke up around 10 AM it was 71% humidity in my apartment 🥵 I walked around outside for about 10-15 minutes yesterday in basketball shorts and a light T-shirt and was dripping in sweat.

Yeah, it’s just like growing up. I remember as a kid hoping the weather would finally cool down by Halloween so we wouldn’t sweat through our costumes. In fact there were a couple years that we changed which costume we were going to buy because it would have been too hot to wear.

this month’s average is supposed to be +9 C (48 F) here, but it’s above +20 C (68 F) for the next week at least.
