It’s the funniest because he thinks he is a genius ruthless journalist and tries to humiliate and just straight ruin people to their face in interviews and can’t even take a couple of questions
Reddit refugee, RIP Apollo 7/1/2023. I laugh at comedy and love love.

Wow. No kinder interviewer on earth. He would puss out on an interview with a 5 year old when they asked why his ears are so big
I think good writing is the difference. Good writing can put two characters in an empty room and captivate you
Never heard this take. I thought it was great first episode to last.
It’s disappointing that Apple put constraints on John Stewart when it’s pretty clear he is on the right side of history with his takes on the big issues of our time. So he talks about AI and China…would it really hurt Apple?
Your mom sure was. Hawt
Guy at work always starts saying sexist shit when no other women are around, maybe wanting to built camaraderie or something? Toxic masculinity is a myth. Women all want the bad boys. No thanks we can avoid the 1:1 convos from now on.
The more they talk about putting limits on what it can do and refuse certain requests the less I feel excited about trying it. Like ooh this technology can do ANYTHING but…not that. Not that either. Nope not that.
Banned from Reddit site wide ? That’s crazy
Medicare for all? lol just kidding, of course not.
I am with you on subscriptions but the free version of Carrot is fully functional with no ads, limitations include things like only one weather data source instead of multiple to choose from, a few seconds of radar rather than a longer animation. All of the things you have to pay for are things that actually cost the developer money. Without paying anything it’s still one of the best Weather apps in my opinion.
Carrot has ads? I’ve used it since it came out and the only ads I’m aware of are the fake funny ones you can opt in to
IMO there is no reason to cling to the idea that feet and yards, Fahrenheit, pounds snd ounces, cups and pints make any sense.….it’s kind of embarrassing as an American. We should have just bit the bullet and switched 40 years ago but we are lazy and have no willpower.
We should start calling them freedom degrees and just own that we are stubborn for no reason.
Edit: I apologize, I am actually a time traveler from 1982 when this was not the case
If it does I change my answer. I feel like cheesecake is more of a pie but I like pie more
Lots of people got these because they had them in 2 packs at Costco dirt cheap. If I can help it I will never buy this brand again…
Stop and pay attention to what your body is feeling when you have these sensations. Notice the feeling, acknowledge it, verbalize it, accept it. Let your body feel and process it instead of fighting or distracting yourself. Let it happen until your body experiences it and it subsides. This is about retraining your central nervous system system.
There are a ton of methods and theories that fall under a heading of somatic healing…dealing with your body as it holds these things.

This is discussed a lot in Bessel van der Kolk’s book. When your nervous system is constantly aroused to a fight or flight state, such as due to anxiety, trauma-based reactions to situations, the parts of your brain responsible for creativity, imagination, sense of self shut down as the parts of your brain responsible for self preservation drive the ship. This can become chronic and you end up just feeling numb.
It’s funny but I still have PTSD from working cat events and having to tell 100 people that homeowners’ insurance doesn’t cover flooding. Probably sounds like nothing to you but It’s emotionally exhausting and insurance policies have to be written so plenty of money is paid out showing that customers are getting value out of being insured, but not so much that the company goes bankrupt.
