I’m in similar shoes, started on Kubuntu for my Minecraft server then bit by bit switched both my gaming machine and the server to opensuse TW. Bought a steam deck and now tried distro hopping the gaming pc for a bit, because of an index xmas VR gift, but ultimately went back to TW because non of them were really hassle free. Anyone got a great guide how to painfree set up valve index on Linux? The gaming Pc is all AMD. I love tinkering but sometimes if you wanna just sit down and play you don’t wanna troubleshoot 15 minutes before each session. I love all the technologies I tried garuda and bazzite. Both also have btrfs. The thing that annoys me is I only know enough how to break things not actually how to fix them.
