I hate phones because of the modern expectation that you’re always immediately accessible.
that’s not the phones fault though. a lot of people don’t expect that. it’s a personal choice and i consider people who expect it toxic

Very true, in my family I get a lot of shit for trying to avoid using my phone. Apparently XMPP just isn’t good enough for some people, gotta use horrendous compromised standards like sms/mms/rcs voip and cellular networks instead.

I has ti turn off predictive text be ause it kept making ridicukous substitutions, now spelling is hard 😞
