On any Lemmy instance I would expect admins to axe threads/boards that made specific calls to harm specific people. You cannot advocate targeted violence in many countries
I was permanently banned from reddit for “threatening violence against places” when I made a sarcastic comment about someone else’s plan to fix the housing crisis by destroying housing as it was being constructed.
I can’t believe these people who are openly calling for mass murder aren’t being banned. My reddit account had zero problems for twelve years and then I was banned over that one comment, for a rule that doesn’t exist (they told me I’d broken the rule against “violence against places”, but no such rule exists).
It’s part of the tolerance fallacy. If someone is intolerant of someone for just existing, you cannot tolerate those intolerant people or they will run rampant. Whether they don’t want Jewish people to exist, trans people, gay people, or any other group to exist, you cannot tolerate them, or it will just spread.
Edit: the alternative solution is through education and integration which helps the people learn they aren’t so different and they learn to tolerate each other until everything is forgotten eventually. Some might call that DEI

Imagine unironically relying on the cockroaches and dead rats guy

Imagine not having a counterargument to the cockroach guy…
Imagine thinking people would make serious counterarguments to the cockroach guy…
Imagine having no counterargument because cockroach guy is being right, and then dismissing him because it doesn’t fit your world view
Imagine thinking the cockroach guy is right…
Imagine listening to arguments
Imagine understanding arguments at all
Overthrowing the government is illegal

The obvious bias over there pisses me off.
This place isn’t any better. Post you were answering to, got removed xD
I really don’t want to watch a YouTube video, but I do want to call for violence.
Violence is often the correct answer
I’ve got an ever-growing list of comments here on lemmy where leftists call for violence against their opponents.

But platforms cannot host and spread demands for violence without being an accessory to the crimes advocated.
You want a witch hunt. But you’re not getting it.
A witch hunt is a hunt for something that isn’t real. Who is it you believe that isn’t real?
