Recently, I noticed that no matter which delivery I’m tracking and no matter which status the package is currently in, DHL always claims the estimated delivery date to be yesterday.
This package was dropped at the DHL office on 23rd. When I checked right afterwards, the expected delivery was declared as 22nd. If I’m checking today (24th), it’s now scheduled for the 23rd.
Well they’re honest. They admit it’s already late and they can’t even estimate when it will arrive.
I think they’re playing onto the joke of “I’d like you to do x by yesterday”
Same thing with a package I ordered from eBay. Was supposed to arrive last Monday and last I checked was bouncing back and forth between 2 cities for no discernable reason.
Edit:
Package is a little over a week late, but is either coming today or is already delivered. Gotta check mail.
I have a package that has been less than 50 miles away from me for 5 days now. I live at the north end of DFW (Denton) and the package has bounced back and forth between Dallas and Fort Worth 3 times now. One time it made it up to Denton, then went back to Fort Worth. The latest update is it spent 27 hours traveling between Fort Worth back to Denton a 40 mile drive.
Things like this are why I dislike shopping online. The rare time this type of stuff happens is just absolutely annoying.
Causality Violation kinda thing
