I think the important thing is to just realize that you can be accepting of something even if you don’t personally want to be involved with it. And on the flip side, some people just don’t want to be a part of certain groups, and that’s OK too.

In one hand, people don’t want to be reduced to just one defining feature. In the other, some seem to fear that just because there are gay people with kinks, all LGBT+ persons must be viewed as being into heavy BDSM furry stuff.
Just speak for yourself and how you want to be seen instead of trying to police others/the larger group.
