That’s right, the evil ruzzian orcs want to plunder Ukrainian resources while the altruistic EU is helping plucky Ukrainians out the goodness of their blessed hearts.

Believe it or not, a country being rich in resources doesn’t make it morally okay to invade it.

Believe it or not, but nobody made that argument. However, it is now pretty clear why Europe is fighting Russia in Ukraine.

Well if you agree that Russia is undeniably the aggressor here and must be stopped we should all be damn glad that Europe is supporting the fight against them ““for the resources””

Nah, I don’t agree with your simplistic narrative at all. This is a proxy war between NATO and Russia where NATO is cynically using Ukraine instead of doing its own fighting. The fact that anybody. genuinely believes that the west is “helping” Ukraine is absolutely hilarious.

So Russia invading Ukraine is wrong, but we definitely shouldn’t help them?

Ensuring that Ukraine is destroyed while hundreds of thousands of people die, and millions more have their lives ruined is an interesting way to help. This whole war could’ve been over in a negotiated settlement two months in. The west forced Ukraine to keep fighting, and it’s the reason the war continues. During that time the situation for Ukraine has continuously deteriorated, and at the end of all this there might not be any Ukraine left. With friends like these, who needs enemies.

This war would’ve never even started if Russia hadn’t done a full invasion. And everyone with a brain knows the peace demand from Russia are bullshit. You talk about millions dying but then are willing to subjugate millions under Russian occupation. But I guess when you and your lemmygrad pals believe “Russia did nothing wrong” it’s also pretty easy to believe Russia has every right to fuck over Ukraine.

Well, sounds like we should help Ukraine even more, since Russia’s idea of peace negotiations can be summed up as “lol just give up”.

I mean surely that’s what you’re advocating for here, right? Better support for Ukraine to survive the war of aggression, which, as we established, is Russias fault and entirely reprehensible.
