“I mean, sure Israel is murdering thousands of children, expelling people from their homes, bombing a sovereign nation unprovoked, and Israel is bulldozing homes to make way for new settlements. But other nations do bad stuff too so this is obviously antisemitic”

What’s antisemitic is conflating the actions of Israel with Jewish people. Jews aren’t inherently fascist and fascist Jews aren’t all Jews.

This is also fucking disgusting as antisemitism is a real thing. Trying to conflate it with Israel critique makes people take antisemitism less seriously which is also dangerous.

Isn’t the ICC famous for focusing too much on Africa? Some call it the African Criminal Court. But sure, it is antisemitic that after all the trials in the global south, they go after Israel.

      Who cares about being antisemitic?

I’m a proud antisemite; I think Israel shouldn’t commit genocide.

I am a huge sinophobe; I think uyghurs shouldn’t be “reeducated.”

I fucking hate Canadians; first nations got screwed.

I hate all Arabs and muslims; kashnoggi shouldn’t have been cut into pieces.

I hate white people; we need to fix inequality.

I’m a traitor to my country; I think it could be improved.

      I’m a devil worshipper; I like D&D.

There is still no genocide committed by israel, it’s just hamas propaganda, you know, those guys who really committed a genocide on jewish people.

I would look up the definition of genocide. What hamas did was objectively bad, but not a genocide. What israel is doing is.

Ah yes, going into israel to rape, kill and enslave jews for being jewish and destroying religional and cultural jewish places is not a genocide, got it.

However, carrying out a well planned and structured militaty operation on hamas terrorists is one, oh well.

Did you read the definition of genocide?

the deliberate killing of a large number of people from a particular nation or ethnic group with the aim of destroying that nation or group. “a campaign of genocide” (the aim to destroy that nation or group is important here, hamas, hezbollah, houthis and iran want to kill all jews[nation or ethnic group], israel want to destroy hamas[terrorist group, neither a nation nor an ethnic group])

I just say “from the river to the sea” or “kill all jews”

Ignore Hamas. Read the infamous report from the US that was used by Israel as evidence they weren’t committing genocide. The report cleared Israel, and so it was used as a defense.

          But actually read the report.

According to the US / Israel, they’re holding up food, making it difficult to access, making it get stuck in transit, making it get lost, making zero effort to facilitate / distribute, making it dangerous for people to solve it themselves, etc.

But they never triggered the video game-like definition of genocide. They didn’t use god-like powers to absolutely withhold food. They didn’t declare “I’m doing a genocide.” Technically some people could eat sometimes, and some pencil pusher can’t change definitions on the fly, therefore no genocide.
