At the risk of being downvoted, I will try to explain what is the difference.

The farmers and their union planned and informed the Police about the protests with time in advance. The menure and the demonstrations might not be part of that but I do not know. Germany does respect the right to protest.

On the other hand, the climate protesters did not share their plans with the police and caused some property damage. But more than that they put themselves in danger, as some of them glued their hands.

I’m all in for the climate as well as for the farmers.

      1. Left or green protests that block highways are usually banned if they inform the police beforehand.
      2. Farmer protests also caused property damage. Tractors on highways are bad for the road, they sprayed as well as deposited manure on many streets or in front of government buildings.

Some did. I doubt the highway blockings are official demos (approved by local authorities).

I wonder how much loss in revenue the farmers strike will bring ;)

What really pisses me of is the media reception (especially in privately owned media) of both. I mean yes the farmers kinda got a point, but so, if not more so, have “Last Generation”. Yet the all to often one is endorced or reported on uncritically while the other is agitated against.
