I’ve only ever read it, so I’ve pronounced it “Madge-ul”. But “Mage-ul” also sounds right. And then

AFAIK, there’s no inherent joke to the animated one, though the theme is Lwaxana Twesday.
If you google image “Lwaxana Troi” that is one of the top results. It’s also one of the very few full body images which is what I needed for this one (it was originally a reply to a comment a few months ago about “Three Lwaxanas in a corridor ala The Shining”)
I just saw the previous entry using that same animated image which reminded me of that months-old comment that I upcycled into a post.
I needed her to be pointing…ish!!! I felt bad enough breaking one Majel-Barrett elbow. I didn’t have the heart to break three.

Yeah, also seeing that other post using the same “animated” Lwaxana really made me think I was missing a layer/reference because I did not know what that came from. So the joke in these posts would have still been exactly the same if you had been able to find a full-length Lwaxana from literally anywhere else. Thanks.
