    It’s actually probably the safest time to go, because all the messaging and imagery keeps other people from going to the beach.

    I know that they usually don’t do anything, but they’re still scary as fuck. Something their form and equipment not having changed for the last million years or so is just very intimidating

      “Usually don’t do anything” is an understatement.

      They’re not complex enough to waste energy on non-food objects, though. Shark attacks are incredibly rare, and fatalities are less than a rounding error. But humans killing sharks, that is measurable in 9 digits annually.
