    The whole project just sounds weird. Any mini-PC can be used for emulation, so I’m not sure what would make this one any different. Fitting a Ryzen 7 7840 in it is also a bit overkill unless you’re planning to emulate PS3/Switch. I would expect a small PC for emulation to be way cheaper, maybe in the $200-300 range.

    Emudeck was made to make emulation a no brainier on the steam deck and it works amazingly, but I’m not buying a $600 box just for emulation.

    Clearly…its upselling already made hardware and they throw in a 3d printed shell. Why would anyone buy it? Didn’t even look like a good 3d print. Layers are very visible.

      That is a “3D Printed prototype” used as the article header image. All other images of the device look to be injection molded.
