So far my takeaway is, Caudalie over charges their loyal customers for their products so they can afford to fly useless “influencers” across the planet so they can be treated to a 5* experience for absolutely no reason.

Caudalie isn’t even showcasing it on their own IG! I don’t understand the point! Glamzilla has kinda talked about the products, but the other ones have not at all!! I have learned nothing. It’s so stupid and weird.

Glamzilla is using old content regarding products it seems. That Izzi chick has posted jack! I have no idea who the hell she is or what she does. The Caudalie pr girl has less than 2,000 instagram followers and is posting squat. I have zero idea what the point is other than spending a butt load of $$$ on these clowns.

This is a thoughtful statement! This trip has the value of a month’s or two salary. Are they attributing their success selling serums to these influencers?! I guess the trips, in theory, are in lieu of them paying for advertising but it’s all based in the same gross manipulative culture of trying to keep up with 1% socialite culture. The brand is tapping into insecurities, sadness and feelings of not being good enough to make bank. It’s sad and I hate these brands who, like influencers, may have once had a good vision but now just portray abundance in a way that will never help woman feel truly loved or strong.
