I’m a little disappointed with the villain just being the cliché villain that does things for villain reasons, like showing up with a perfect chance to do harm but then doesn’t because “the mood isn’t right” and “l might get back to villain business eventually, but only once I’ve given you an arbitrary opportunity to prepare a way to stop me”, let’s not forget “ugh, I already did one evil today, I’m not doing evil twice in one day, I’m not a tryhard”.
I’m not sure what it was that cracked on page 7. I had feared at first that it might have been her magic core or something like that.
This chapter is a bit of a confusing mess that reveals a whole lot of nothing…
The something cracking might have been the slimes access to Jelly’s memories, or its loss of them could be entirely unrelated. Something that just happens with time as Jelly’s body ages and is reduced to merely a host for the slime.
Why must it end in another cliffhanger? 😱
