Yes! For the fun and privacy!
At least in the US there is no expectation of privacy in public.
Good thing other countries exist where everyone needs consent to process your data - processing such as by making you the center of a photo.
Does your government extend such kindness? Businesses?
Yes, although collecting some data doesn’t need explicit consent, such as security cameras in a store whose footage is deleted after two days- because that’s a legitimate interest.
In such a case, you only need to be informed that your data is collected, for example via a sign.
Because of this, security cameras must only record your private property. After all, if you recorded the street in front of your property as well, you couldn’t possibly inform people passing by of your data collection and someone disagreeing with it should still be able to use public land.
That’s why there are cookie banners everywhere. You need consent to process data.
I had this idea, years back, to start a subreddit for missed photos, IMAP instead of ITAP—“I missed a picture.” I was going to make it a paragraph description, but this would be just as good.
Edit: guys, see how this is all in the past tense? I’m not going to be doing it. I don’t want to be a mod.
Okay, if you’re not gonna do it…

I hope this notifies y’all. And I hope I didn’t misinterpret any bandwagon posts from that one chain as interest if any of y’all weren’t interested. If any of y’all wanna be mod, let me know. It’s only fair.
Oh shit, hell yeah! This got buried for some reason, but I see it now! I’m in!
Do it!
Piling on to say do it. I’d subscribe.
