Johnson exemplifies everything the UCP stands for: Unrepentant and unapologetic bigotry, hatred, authoritarianism, and abuse of others. Basically, this isn’t a surprise. Smith is now saying the quiet parts out loud.

If not, it also reflects poorly on the voters in Alberta. Then again, given the last 50+ years of Alberta’s electoral history, it seems to take a lot to get a non-conservative government elected.
Personally, this makes perfect sense to me.
