    Does this mean we’re at the “We know it’s happening and climate change is real but we still need to prioritize stockholders money over peoples lives” stage and we’re done with “Climate change isn’t real you stupid hippie”?

    Makes as much sense as installing a smoke detector in your house then using your bbq indoors and acting surprised when you hear the alarm.

    Isn’t the alarm system climate scientists? It is going off, and nobody is doing anything other than ignoring it.

      This study is trying to reduce uncertainty around current theories, it’s more science by scientists. Uncertainty makes it harder to build effective policy.

    If only we could spend that 81 million on sustainable energy expansion or something. We don’t need an alarm to tell us when we’re fucked because we already know we’re on the verge of fucked
