You’re right and we should use that. But many people also aren’t capable of doing that. I sat down with 2 friends a few months back and they wanted to replace their iPhone batteries, one also needed to change his display. End of the story was that the previously working display didn’t work anymore :(

That would be great if we weren’t past the point of phones having unremovable batteries… Too little too fucking late as always, Google.
All batteries are replaceable. Some take a bit more effort and some specialized equipment, though.
