The UK government has said it had dropped its plan to start selling in imperial measures after a consultation revealed 99% support for keeping the metric system.

As a Brit, the only imperial measurement I actually use is the mile. I don’t even know my height or weight in imperial.
Your height can be measured in miles.
In the same way that the distance between Earth and the sun can be measured in football pitches, yes.
It may sound idiotic but European Civil Aviation converted to imperial a few years (maybe a decade?) ago.
Instead of meters they use feet etc.
