The UK government has said it had dropped its plan to start selling in imperial measures after a consultation revealed 99% support for keeping the metric system.

    It may sound idiotic but European Civil Aviation converted to imperial a few years (maybe a decade?) ago.

    Instead of meters they use feet etc.

    Totally idiotic.
    But it’s idiocracy so it’s ok.
