I have been happy with bspwm, but considering trying something else. I love its simplicity and immense customizability. I like that it is shell scriptable, but it is not a deal breaker feature for me.
I like how the binary split model makes any custom partition possible.
Previously i3, now sway. It’s quite simplistic but has been working really well and doesn’t get in my way. From what I’ve heard hyprland seems really enticing but all the graphical effects might be too much for me. I’m not sure if it makes sense if I end up disabling all animations and have it look like stock i3.
