      Well, due to how the voting system in the US works, it’s literally not a popularity contest, else there would’ve been a few different outcomes in modern history.

      …where so many voters confuse the ability to perform in a reality-television infotainment stage, with the actual qualifications of the actual daily grind of running a federal government. And the infotainment 24-hour cycle obliges, like a fleet of bulldozers pushing manure, thoroughly poisoning the discourse.
