But i aint never seen car spots designated for cargobikes although three families could benefit from just one car space.

What really grinds my gears, is whenever it snows, and it is really easy to tell the cars aren’t even being used most days.
Our public space is apparently just a place for some people to store their personal belongings.
Makes me want to just put a freezer in a vacant parking spot and leave it there.

I kind of agree, although I wouldn’t say it tracks directly. But less workers rights surely means disengagement, less nuanced goals than just profits surely means disengagement.
Also anglo-saxon management philosophy is definitively part of this.
I aint a fan of a two-party system - I’ll take the slow, stable Danish way any day.

There are lots of great ways to moderate and balance freedom and privacy. Also for young people. For-profit companies failed at it.
Ban algorithms, make data-collection default opt-out, disallow attention-for-ads business model. Or just close it all.
How far is in miles or kilometers? It sounds very doable if infrastructure is not forcing you a long way around :)
In my dense Europen city, even regular bike is faster than cars if we are talking in the city.
I love that. We even have something similar on my street - it makes a world of difference.
Still mostly cars though.
