Couple that with the fact that it’s getting harder and harder to go out and socialize with real people due to everything getting more expensive (except wages). People are losing their third space and are replacing it with these grifter online forums, it’s far more affordable than going to a bar or social place, more and more people are staying home these days.

I knew a kid like that in school, who’s mother did all his homework and projects for him, he couldn’t even spell “phone”. He was a rich kid who would miss half the school year going on family trips, never took the SAT’s, never went to university. He’s now an executive at JP Morgan (wish I was joking.)

I’m pretty sure it’s a suprise to nobody that China is selling weapons to Russia, it’s basically the only basis of their alliance. As far as ideology and future goals are concerned they are not exactly friends, more like fair-weather friends.
Probably so they can get money to “take care of their family.” That’s why I hate the excuse of “If I do what’s necessary, then I won’t be able to feed my kids or pay my mortgage” people because that’s the reasoning of a cop or a Nazi soldier putting a gun barrel to the back of a pregnant womans neck, “I’m just protecting my own.” As if prioritizing your own children over other children at large isn’t anything other than fascist. Those people are self-reporting themselves as narcs and should be feared like the plague. Everyone’s family is at risk now, fuck your own. People need to start realizing the world is bigger than themselves.
The populace outnumber the police by more than 1000:1. Yes, it could be a massacre, but if the populace want victory bad enough then they can get it. However i’m convinced that Americans would stay at home and stop protesting if police start shooting at them, Americans are cowards. History has proven that the US Gov’t could bomb and burn a US city to smithereens and Americans will do nothing as a consequence (Tulsa and Philadelphia)

I’m really sorry for you and your situation, I wish there was anything more I could do than tell you that (as not an American myself). If anything I hope your situation is a cautionary tale for anyone thinking of moving to America.
America doesn’t have a good track record for young, popular, progressive presidents.
Because when the masses are robbed of a stable living and basic dignity, and when faith in institutions collapse in a society that puts everything on faith in institutions, coupled with an education system that isn’t built for intelligence and critical thinking but instead for indoctrination and farming obedient workers, people become desperate for “something else” or “anything else.” Because it’s inhuman and unnatural for homosapiens to live under those conditions, and it’s a desperate situation because these people are desperate, and the people at large have lost a sense of higher purpose (be it God or Country, I personally think we need to return our worship and devotion to Mother Nature.)
I too have challenged faith and reason given the current state of affairs, but I have faith in Mother Nature to return balance to the relations we’ve disturbed, and cut arrogant humans, who think they’re somehow above or seperate from nature, down to size. Like a deer or insect or algae that dominate a given area and upsets the balance, Mother Nature demands balance and harmony between relations and suffering is caused when those relations are disturbed. What gives me faith is the knowledge that all these politicians and their big fancy buildings could magically vanish today, and would go unnoticed as society keeps plodding along - as it’s us who grow and distribute the food, it’s us who drive the trucks and move the goods, it’s us who live on our land, it’s us who strive for and gift a sense of belonging to one another, it’s us who repairs things when they’re broken and it’s us who rebuild when things get destroyed. We are only intelligent or special creatures in that we exist to maintain Natures relations, and like every other creature we exist to survive. We don’t want to assume coersive power or overthrow our government, we want coersive power to be destroyed.

What about when you’re in a situation where you have to report other anti-MAGA to protect yourself from MAGA? Would you rat out strangers you don’t know to protect yourself and your kids?
The “but my children” excuse does not make you an ally, it makes you a liability and untrustworthy. What if they decide to deport you? You’ll definitely never see your children again. What about other peoples children? Just because they’re not yours, they don’t matter to you? Children, aka the future, depends on you going out and fighting, not hiding behind your kids because “my kids are more important than your kids.” That mindset of fear and capitulation to fascists is exactly what creates fascism, so stop using your kids as a shield from responsibility. You decided to bring your kids into this situation, not us.
There are other ways to help on the frontline that don’t involve picking up a gun and getting shot. On the back end as well, people are needed. You have a unique set of skills, stop giving them to the people that bribe you with money and start using it towards your childrens future.
It’s interesting you mention why Republicans are so unwilling to consolidate votes, yet the only time in history where they did consolidate votes was to prevent Hunter S Thompson from becoming sheriff of Aspen.
