It’s all about the look - One prefers a taskbar or another mainly due to the look :)

Well it’s a dock, so basically an icon-based taskbar.

No, that was not me. This is the only icon set I’ve made. Also I think Windows 7 default icons are good already :) Thanks anyway.

The RPM package is signed with my key, and it looks like you don’t have my public key. My public key should be available on key servers for example Open PGP listed under my email.

That’s something I’ve been thinking about too – will try to find time for it.
