The vast majority of polls have Trump leading Michigan, but a lot of those are also within the margin of error and otherwise very close.

What is with Lemmy’s insistence on pretending that the debate either didn’t hurt Biden, or actually helped him?

It’s like a lot of people here actually believe that by pretending nothing is wrong, that means nothing is wrong.

Interesting that they allowed these two issues within the same piece of propaganda, considering these are the same class of people who enabled the elite to entirely remove any politics relating to the improvement of material economic conditions for working class people from public debate, or elections, and replace it entirely with the politics of culture war.

This is public record due to their financial reporting obligations as public company, but their password sharing crackdown resulted in not insignificant amounts of new subscribers.

Or at least, there was meaningful growth that occurred in time periods that aligned with those policies going into effect.

I can’t believe you would blame the CIA for problems in Kenya.

You’re working backwards from a terrible policy, banning people for having shitty political views, and then justifying it by saying, “Well, they probably committed sex crimes because they’re creepy”.

Because that’s what I’m concerned about - banning people for the thought crimes of having shitty politics, which is something this team clearly engaged in.

I can’t speak to any other role they played in preventing actual criminal activity, like you described, but those would be perfect examples of the types of people that should be banned.

But if your argument is that actual crime and “pre-crime” or “thought crimes” are the same, well, that’s pretty Orwellian and something I strongly disagree with.

Get fucked. He has spent his whole professional career being an airline industry suit, which is why he was placed at the FAA by Biden: he’s another industry plant in an completey captured regulator, by an industry captured government.

It’s telling that you think a multi-day combat operation over a geographically dispersed area is just one very long firefight.

Never have I defended the IDF, nor have I condemned any Palestinian combatants.

I certainly never expressed any skepticism about the genocide or sexual violence that does appear to be deliberately systemic within the IDF, or at minimum, widely tolerated up the chain.

Also, while I agree that of the attackers that day, the Hamas forces were the least likely culprits due to training and defined mission objectives, they weren’t the only people to enter Israel after the barriers were breached. That doesn’t mean they didn’t, just that I think there are other scenarios with a higher probability.

And last, I’m not really sure if you’re being intentionally honest with your retelling of events, or if you really just don’t know that much about the scope and duration of the attack. Either way, you don’t really have a firm grasp enough to speak on this with any sort of authority, certainly not with the confidence you seem to have.
