  • Yes, treating crypto as a way to invest is a scam. The vast majority of crypto and crypto-adjacent “projects” are scams.

We live in a world where payment providers have the power to force Etsy to delist vendors that sell sex toys to customers of a legal age, payment apps like Venmo or PayPal will permaban your account for selling NSFW art or products, and physical cash is being largely abandoned for cards and digital wallets. Surely you can see the benefits of a completely anonymous payment method?

To be clear, I vastly prefer cash, but there’s an obvious issue with trying to anonymously use cash to pay for something on the internet or to send money to someone who isn’t within easy driving distance.

  • I’m just really flabbergasted that almost nobody has a non-docker option… like… it’s Linux, there has to be a good middle ground, right?

Bro. Debian. People here have said Debian. You’re talking about distros like you’re going to be using this machine to do your personal banking, gaming, or whatever else you use your daily driver pc for. This is a server that will run a service. You can install it on a headless machine if you want. If you don’t want Docker just install Debian and call it a day.

I mean if you want to try Ubuntu go ahead, but it’s just Debian with some extra shit slapped on top. If you want to try Arch going ahead, but it’s rolling and updates will bork your Plex. If you want to try Kali go ahead, but it’s just Debian with different extra shit slapped on top.

I’m not trying to be a dick, but I really don’t understand what kind of answer you’re looking for here.

My recommendation is to run your PMS on TempleOS.

  • I think the intent of the big green bar in the middle is to signify that all the revenue streams combine to form this single total revenue, then the various cost centers chip away at it until you get the singular green revenue total in the bottom left.

I guess it’s how our brains are wired like another poster said, because I definitely didn’t pick up an implied relationship between the revenue and costs here.

  • Wtf? No I’m not defending anyone, are you serious? I’m just saying that the fucking newspaper headline is accurate and isn’t disparaging/insensitive to the victim in the situation.

Jesus fucking christ you are primed and ready to fucking go with your outrage. The article didn’t mention anything about the victim being a minor when they met, or about her being groomed. If that’s the case, yeah super fucked up, no shit. I literally opened the article after reading the post I responded to, read it, saw that it said the victim and Epstein were in a consensual relationship, then he raped her a year later.

If I’m missing context blame the article, not me dude.
