Serious answer: eggs have a protective barrier around them, so sperm actually need to group in bunches to break the barrier, and a single lone sperm is incredibly unlikely to do well on its own. As such the ones that have a higher chance of success are actually the ones that are last and get in after the barrier’s been weakened.
Really, I’m still on Twitter because I follow a lot of my favorite artists there, and they sure don’t have Mastodon.
Ok me and my boyfriend personally don’t like it. And that’s not to say it’s a bad movie, but the deeper you look at it the more that they changed how Adrien and Marinette are as people, and things start falling apart from there. I could make an entire post about it to be honest, but Buggachat on Tumblr does a decent enough job of dissecting it.
And that’s not even getting me started on how they massacred Plagg, Jesus Christ.
I think the best thing I can say without delving into spoilers is, if you’re an S1 fan, you’re probably gonna like this. But if you’re like me and my partner who adore everything season 4 and 5, yeah this is not it chief. The animation is beautiful though, it’s worth it to watch it for that reason alone.
(Also why did they need to make it a musical? It doesn’t add anything.)
Honestly, the first thing that I thought about was what if the sign had a slur word. Sure freedom of speech means say what you wanna say, that doesn’t mean people aren’t gonna sock you in the face.
Personally I find this form of thinking far more dangerous: I come from a country in which being “mentally disabled” would literally mean me being unable to function in polite society, and being a “retard” is something pretty common, even with adults. The fact I was undiagnosed autistic until I left saved me. Sure you don’t function like everyone else, and yeah, it’s hard - trust me -, but to say you’re broken is basically undermining everyone else that has the same condition as you.
