My dream is that one day there will be community run mesh networks in every major U.S metro, all federating with each other. A network of interconnected organic ecosystems that serve and fuel the local economies they hail from, rather than all of the wealth and data generated within them being siphoned into silicon valley. Who knows, maybe such a network could be configured such that it redistributes wealth.
