PS: Schickt diesen Link allen, die sagen es wäre wirklich wichtig für Kinderschutz. Die Reporter haben dutzende Kinderschänder kontaktiert, auf offenen Plattformen, ohne jegliche Untergrabung digitaler Freiheit.

Oh okay, didnt know Bazzite builds slower than the other images.

Instead of blocking users, education is the way better option. Flatpak Firefox does not have user namespace sandbox support, which is a pretty big deal.

No that is definetly a bug, as it spits out strange error messages.

I dont think Firefox running through Podman in rootless mode can create user namespaces? But not sure, will check that.

I have auto updates enabled and I reboot daily. This is not an issue especially on ublue where they are on by default.

I am not a fan because they install all that WINE stuff on the system level which is a huge security degradation.

Running WINE through Bottles with the latest protonGE through PupGUI works on all distros.

If they removed that I would consider it.

Also they remove Firefox and Flatpak Firefox can only use seccomp filters, not sandboxes, which less secure. And due to an rpm-ostree issue those removed packages are never reinstallable.

In the EU you can just block those popups, they waste so much time and are opt-in by law. Not in the wild west though…

For all those single-click fans:

• how do you quickly rename a file?

Saying “well kids use web stuff and Android and dont know what a single click is” is basically neglecting the use of a mouse. I love at least 3 buttons, hovering and fast clicks.

There is no way to safely store nuclear waste. It makes entire landscapes unusable, it lasts nearly forever and… the waste management is done by the state, not the company!

Nuclear power is some capitalist bullshit that outsources the waste and risks to the state. Only in that case its profitable in any way.

Solar and Wind are so much easier, solar extremely. If we could change out loads, focus everything on the day and simply not use that much at night, we wouldnt even need that much wind. Decentralized, local networks of Solar Power are the future.
