I have an interest in opensource software, weird/bad movies and alternative music.
A crazy adventure flick with Nazis, Amazons, crossbow-sporting pygmies, and Robert Patrick.
Awesome! Thanks for sharing.
The B-chiller cult classic directed by Herk Harvey. Carnival of Souls was released to blu-ray by Criterion some years ago. It’s also streaming on the Criterion Channel.
In this case the B in B-movie definitely stands for BAD. Go in with the right expectations, however, and… it will still frickin’ suck. Stick to music Glenn. Also, stop being such a douche…
Galaxina is mostly remembered now for being the final film role released while its star, Playboy Playmate Dorothy Stratten, was still alive. She was killed two months after the movie’s release in a murder-suicide by her husband Paul Snider…
I haven’t seen the remake, so I can’t compare the two. The original is a good time though. Have fun watching!
The Crazies might be Romero’s best non-zombie movie.
Just some good, ol’ fashioned slasher cheese.
I mean, I doubt this movie made a lot of profit, so I don’t think suing them would be very beneficial?
Don’t mention it! :)
You can find it on YouTube. 😉
Probably the most Star Wars-like movie that isn’t actually part of the Star Wars franchise.
Also… “LIGHT YEARS BEYOND TOMORROW?” A light-year is a unit of length, numbnuts, not time.
Right? 😱🧠
A solid B-movie from the man who made The 7th Voyage of Sinbad, Attack of the 50 Foot Woman and The Deadly Mantis (Nathan. H. Juran).
Schlocky, brutal and gory AF… just how I like my B-movies…
Have you seen the documentary Corman’s World: Exploits of a Hollywood Rebel? It’s really great!
One of two Women in Prison movies that the great Jack Hill shot in the Philippines in the early '70s. I prefer his The Big Bird Cage, but The Big Doll House is excellent as well…
Cynthia Rothock seems to be going through a resurgence lately. I love it! 💥🤛
A fun when-mutated-nature-attacks B-movie to watch on a lazy afternoon.
