Cases like this only prove that a better lock doesn’t improve security when the old lock still lets you in.
The takeaway here isn’t “passkeys are bad”, it’s “keeping less secure methods of authentication as a fallback is bad”
It’s like saying all 2FA is bad because SMS 2FA is dogshit.

The engine Can of Duty uses is effectively a heavily modified quake 3 engine.
By this point it’s so modified it may as well be a different thing, but make no mistake it has evolved from the quake 3 engine.

There’s weirdly a lot of fractures within the LGBTQ+ community, there’s a joke that the letters are “in order of preference” and quite a lot of the gay community doesn’t recognise trans people, or thinks Bi folks are just gay but won’t admit it and things like that.
An ex of mine was bi and I got exposed to a lot of this shit because of the amount of shit she got from some of her lesbian friends over dating a man. It really shocked me because it’s completely against your own interests to become the very thing that’s opressed you and your kin, yet here we are - gay republicans.
And to top it all off, it didn’t help his body odour at all. He stank.
We desperately need a company like Mozilla to take the reigns of something like Lemmy. The original developers are far too biased and short sighted to see the bigger picture, it needs to be an independent group that promotes more open source development.
TNG’s the inner light is one of its best episodes and it spectacularly fails this test.
