• ~14-18 years - men go into puberty and their testosterone increases which leads to them doing stupid shit
• ~25-30 years - women get a quarter life crisis and make radical changes
• ~40-45 years - women are more confident and know better what they want and make drastic changes
• ~50-55 years - men get what people call a midlife crisis and again start doing stupid shit

Do you have any example for this? Because in my experience, games on Steam cost literally the same amount as everywhere else and sometimes are even a bit cheaper than that.

Google SafetyNet. You have rooted your device and/or are using a custom ROM? Then your device definitely isn’t secure and a lot of apps straight up prevent you from using them.

It’s not only Apple Photos. Google Photos does the same shit but at least for the latter (don’t know if Apple offers this feature) there is an option to exclude people from these “highlights”.

I’ve an entry “3D controller” which mentions my GPU (GeForce MX150). There I have the following kernel modules: nvidiafb, nouveau, nvidia_drm, nvidia.

So I guess it should be fine, since both of the entries you mentioned are there.

I switched to the newest Kernel version and sadly the problem still persists. :(

Yep, I have the variant with a Nvidia GPU and I also think that it’s highly likely that they fucked up. I’ve already noticed that I don’t see a lot of settings in the Nvidia server settings app where other people seem to have way more options than me.

There doesn’t seem to be any Edge version for 22.x, so I guess I’m using the normal one.

The thing with my refresh rate is that the highest one available to me is just 60 Hz. I’m using a Huawei Matebook X Pro (2018) and if I’m not mistaken, its display should have 90 Hz at a resolution of 3.000x2.000 (yep, it’s display is somewhat uncommon and has a 3:2 format). I’ve noticed because since the switch, the screen looked very choppy to me.

This doesn’t hold true for every country though. So a lot of people are better off buying some third party controller or not giving any money to Nintendo at all.

I’ve installed it on my laptop a few weeks ago and most of the things worked indeed out of the box!

The only things not working are its fingerprint reader and the higher refresh rates of its display. I haven’t been able to solve either problem yet. :(

oh boy, do I have news for you! The Nintendo Switch 2 has a C-Button on its controller which opens their new feature “Game Chat” for which a Nintendo Switch Online subscription is necessary. This means there is now a dedicated button on the controller, which will open a popup that tells you to buy their subscription!

For Android they have reproducible builds to verify that they are using the source code from their public repo for the app distributed via Google’s Play Store.

Regarding the server software, it’s not that easy but because of the Signal protocol you can be sure that messages are e2e encrypted and authenticated. They also have the sealed sender feature which hides the identity of the sender. So it shouldn’t really matter what software a server is using.
