  • Its often the little things like this that make it clear for me who is indeed a moron.
Like oh, omg, that explains so much about that person.
    That poor thing.

Now, I def need to not equate that with ‘capabilities’ of someone, even morons can brute-force achieve things I could never. They do it despite the handicap and I respect that.

Dont want to discuss problems or brainstorm when them but respect nonetheless (them and their work).

Most of us are in fact not what it’s commonly considered neurotypical (I beehive they are a smol but just the most vocal group). And just like with folk on introverts/depressed/ADHD/autism/etc spectrum it’s best to recognise, acknowledge, respect, and adapt to that (ie work and communicate a bit differently with each one of us, it doesn’t take all that much, and the learning curve is just so unbelievably good at the start).

  • I like the top panel bcs it allows for proper play time, not some baby bs. Kinda like cats vs cats play.

Never needed to clip any cats claws so I can’t sympathise entirely, but I doubt I would have forced the issue if kitties were too against it (especially if the second time they would still be against it).

  • This was never not the case for me.

In CRT era there was just no contest, the resolution (the amount of data displayed) alone was worlds apart. Yet I only ever had one CRT connected at a time.

Once the LCDs became minimally viable for me I just never disconnected the previous LCD when upgrading/buying another one (I’ve always been a “main screen + support screens” sort of operator).

Finally LCDs and OLEDs became just too big (and tiling much much better) to have “too many” monitors.
Yet there are times when I wish I had a mini monitor (one of those candy bar screens where I would just have Signal or something, about 480×1920 pixels, they are cheap but I then remember how silly the need is and don’t want to further consumerism for needles thighs).
