Mostly here to kill time. Big fan of open source game engine recreations/source ports, firmware modding, Linux, and gaming in general.
I had no idea. I thought it would be funny because of how absurd it is
did I read too much into this because this is shitty million dollar ideas and not million dollar ideas?
It is a kind of joke community. The premise is basically items you’d pitch in a surreal fever dream where you’re on shark tank.
Some examples I just thought of are a bladeless lawn mower for people who want to give off the illusion their artificial grass lawn is real to trick their neighbours and selling disposable latex gloves in a Russian nesting doll style package where they’re all inside each other so people don’t need to buy multiple boxes of different sizes
Do you have an example of apps designed for creating bootable media switching to a paid model?
Thanks for explaining. I didn’t know it went unmaintained for a while. I thought programs like balenaEtcher and Rufus might have other issues I was unaware of like certain OSs not flashing correctly
Thanks for the suggestion. That does really neat and I think I’ll check it out.
The VCLauncher looks like it might be able to help the game run on modern operating systems so I think I’ll see if that works.
How long ago was that?
Yeah. Pull it and go to a different floor and look around. You aren’t standing around waiting for them unless you have some weird 1930s pull station
There’s a few open source front ends for Twitch that I’ve tried but I’ve had the occasional issue with video playback either stopping and being unable to reload or if I’m watching a VOD it won’t consistently remember my position so I’d say I prefer the official app.
Normally I use open source ones when possible such as NewPipe or Invidious for YouTube for example.
GRIS. An absolutely gorgeous game with some relatively easy platforming and puzzles. It was published by Devolver Digital.
If you are lightly toasted ECHO can be a lot of fun. Great visuals and plenty of ways to cheese your way around puzzles.
Cloud Punk is a super chill cyberpunk taxi game. I don’t think I ever felt stressed playing it.
Did they say donate to 1337x or donate to 1337x followed by a link? If it’s the latter it might be to trick people into donating to an individual.
I’d be hesitant to think that’s how 1337x mods would get a few extra dollars.
I didn’t play it myself. I was watching Vinesauce’s Twitch stream of it while I was high and boy did that catch me off guard.
That said I probably wouldn’t have made it very far myself. It seems like the kind of game where I would get hopelessly turned around or stuck in a loop.
I think playing it with someone who can give you a knudge without spoiling anything would be an ideal situation.
What am I missing here? Some kind of steganography?
Just telling you what the settings page says. It probably just defaults to the maximum quality level. 320kbs may be relevant to other platforms you can download from using Spotiflyer like SoundCloud.
That said I can’t tell the different between 256 and 320 kbs.
Yeah I’d say so. 320kbs I think is the default quality level
SpotiFlyer. It matches songs in a Spotify playlist to songs on YouTube and downloads them. Great if you like Spotify’s curated and niche playlists but don’t like their app or restrictions on playback.
Antenna Pod is great for podcasts but that’s not really piracy.
I could easily find this online but is there a reason for the sudden shift?
Someone isn’t familiar with the competitive 'noff scene
