I don’t make things up, I just look them up.
Whoever designed that image should have to return the Fe they were paid.
I’m just reading the article, as you were also able to do, and it says, “On 8 June, officers were made aware via CCTV of a man, Bray, walking down Queens Road, Nuneaton, with the sword in his hand. Bray approached officers with the blade visible, at which point he was arrested.” Bold added for emphasis. If I were out in public in the UK, and if I happened to have a bladed implement, I’d keep it out of sight. Especially if there were police anywhere nearby. But hey, you can do as you please. Have a nice day!
This “victim surcharge” would be termed court cost or court fee in the US.
Not for simply having, but for brandishing said bladed device as the police approached. That’s the law, in that city. As the officer said, “It is possible to find fidget toys that aren’t six-inch blades. It is possible not to walk down the street holding them out in front of you. With a bit more self-awareness, Bray could have avoided contact with us completely.” Bray brought this on himself, and could have avoided any contact with the police. He chose otherwise.
Just raw dogging the calendar?!? I dunno!!
Which, of course, explains why all blind people are thin. And opens a whole new avenue for weight control. We’ll make kitchen light switches that only work within certain BMI ranges. /s
Everyone has their kink. Don’t yuck someone else’s yum. ;-)
Grumpy conservative dislikes Social Justice Workers/Warriors but chipper botanist makes a pun, saying Hypericum (perforatum) a.k.a. St. John’s Wort is a good genus. Note: the leaves have tiny holes/ perforations, hence the species.

Something not considered in this paper, Post Viral Syndromes, may also be a factor. Though some acknowledgement of post viral syndromes dates to at least the 1950’s, it’s only with the COVID19 pandemic that modern medicine has really begun to take a look at this with some seriousness. These PVS’s can affect many organs in the body, specifically the nervous system, and including cognition.

Nah, we all individually and collectively make mistakes. And it’s our choice what we do next. You can do better. And so can I. Why are you so down? What’s up?
None of them! All of my secret conspiracies are SECRET!
Ah that explains the Hat Bag/ Bag Hat. For it to work properly one would need to have a dent in one’s skull the size of one’s cargo. Think of the hat gag from last week, and sneaking a roast chicken into the theater. ;-)
“trump supporters” are not a monobloc. And different people value different information in different ways, for their own reasons. We need to peel off as many trump voters as possible. Discouraging statements like “trump supporters do not care about this” help to get trump elected. If you want fascism, u/nutsack, that’s how we get fascism.
