With great help from a patient friend who started by teaching me the vocabulary, I finally feel ready to buy the parts. I will use this PC primarily for games like BG3, Dragon Age, and whatever new games may come in the next 3-5 years. Even though I won’t do any intensive tasks like 3D modeling or video editing, I picked parts that may be pricey for a beginner because I want to enjoy my games and avoid any immediate updates.

I believe all the parts are compatible and I feel good about keeping it just below $2,000. I have a Dell monitor that runs at 4 ms which I know is not ideal but that’s good enough for now.

What do you think about my selections? Do I have enough fans for all the parts?
