Because that’s just silly. Otherwise, it shouldn’t be a big difference. If anything it might help with grip vs super dry hands.
Having really dry skin does not help with grip.
Less slip with dry skin though. Put moisturizer on and try to open a tight jar and you’ll need to squeeze harder to prevent your hand from slipping
