Repaired my phone 6 months ago, then it broke again. Repaired it again yesterday, then it broke again next day, so they repaired it again today.
Cost like 160g grand total, could have just bought another phone for that price

Unfortunately I agree. That’s why I am looking for a open-source hardware alternative for the future. But they aren’t there yet for my use case.
Depending on what broke, would a Fairphone not be a good option ?
They’re relatively expensive, so not a good solution for poor people atm.
that’s crushing. I did change the batteries ans screens for quiet a few phones by now. I would recommend looking for popular refurbished phones as exchange parts are cheap and alternative OS are often supported for longer software support.
