        Oh yeah true. I only got it basically by what was left over, plus the fact that it has general meanings of quickness.

      Not sure in general but in Southern California in the 1980s, we used to say things like, “I’m going to bolt down lunch then race to school”.

        Yeah I believe that some people might use it that way. It’s just not in my vocabulary. In that same sentence I would substitute “wolf down”.
