US Muslim leaders who supported Republican Donald Trump to protest against the Biden administration’s support for Israel’s war on Gaza and attacks on Lebanon have been deeply disappointed by his cabinet picks, they tell Reuters.

“Trump won because of us and we’re not happy with his Secretary of State pick and others,” says Rabiul Chowdhury, a Philadelphia investor who chaired the Abandon Harris campaign in Pennsylvania and co-founded Muslims for Trump. Muslim support for Trump helped him win Michigan and may have factored into other swing state wins, strategists believe.

They were upset by the democrats as well, which is probably why they turned to the only other party in the country. I know people are going to rush in and say “but the democrats would be better than trump!!” and that may be true to some extent, but the genocide started and progressed unabated under democrats. I guess Muslims can just get fucked, huh folks?

The genocide started in 2020? I kind of thought maybe there was some conflict in the region prior to that…but now I understand it was the Democrats that did everything and I will vote for Republicans, the party that specifically hates Muslims, instead.

More accurately the genocide started when israel was being established, but it greatly ramped up in 2023. I know you want to take the heat off of democrats, but they are just as complicit in this genocide. Yes, republicans are worse in general, but that does not absolve democrats of giving billions in support of genocide.

You don’t know what I want, and none of that is what I said, but keep pretending whatever approach you’re taking here is helpful, it seems to be helping you sleep at night. No one should be absolved of supporting Israel’s actions in Gaza, but I was given 2 options and I picked the one that I expect to result in less harm. The other option won and will now be in control of what happens to Gaza, and there’s no silver lining in that no matter how bad you want to find one.

In Russian roulette, I might not die.

Or, my brains might explode out of my head to paint the wall in a vivid splatter.

Why the fuck would anyone play Russian roulette in the first place?

I mean, these people (the leaders in the article) threw basically any minority group in the US and all of Ukraine under the bus to make their point. I’m not gonna say anything about all Muslims, but these leaders can definitely get fucked.

Don’t worry, they have plenty like the above commenter who are willing to give them plenty of asspats and play apologist about how they opted to kill more of the people they supposedly want to save AND massacre American minorities.

They weren’t thrown under the bus, they were already lined up in front of the bus by democrats who then pointed at the republican bus driver and screamed that they would be driven over if they didn’t vote democrat.

Have you ever heard of an analogy before? Because that’s like…the Stretch-Armstrong of analogies.
