    Definitely without ads, as they are not only annoying, but also contain tracking, are potentially malicious and steal my time.

    AI has its uses, AI slop is a menace though.

      I agree, especially since AI slop is mostly driven by people who wanna get clicks and make money from ads. If you kill ads, you also kill AI abuse to a degree.

        AI propaganda is often sponsored by state level actors who used to spread their propaganda online “manually” before. So it’s not like propaganda would go away if AI went away, it would just become more expensive again.

    Internet without AI easily, because lets be real. If the AI were on the ad free internet, they’d just be the vector for the ads to be distributed. You’d think you’re talking to a person, and you’ll find you’re really talking to a chatbot who is going to try and influence you to buy its operator’s products.

    I’m going to say internet without AI. I imagine (not certain) that AI likely has a larger environmental impact than advertising. I would rather not accelerate the climate crisis with AI
