Being honest, I’m honestly not terribly up on comics in general but…

I know Green Lantern than any other comics.
This has to be golden-age Carol Ferris talking about King Shark.
At least that’s my best guess.
King Shark is a shark
I think more likely they mean something like a loan shark.
